The term "Web 2.0" refers to a new generation of web development and design, that aims to facilitate communication, information sharing, and collaboration on the World Wide Web.
Blogging is a Web 2.0 tool that can be used to enhance classroom collaboration and communication.

North Elementary's 1st graders in Lander, Wyoming began blogging with 1st graders from North Shore Country Day School near Chicago. They take turns posting classroom projects, and have learned a lot about each other's communities.
